In this onsite role you will provide leadership to a team of Quality Control and Inspection Technicians while establishing and maintaining effective inspection, testing, validation, and non-conformance management processes.\nYou will drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement by ensuring robust inspection systems, effective measurement processes, and proactive quality control activities throughout the manufacturing environment.\nTo be considered for the Quality Control Manager role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical discipline.\nMinimum five (5) years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience with:Leading and developing a team\nInspection systems\nMetrology\nDimensional inspection\nCalibration systems\nNonconformance management\nCorrective actions\n\nWorking knowledge of:Statistical Process Control (SPC)\nMeasurement System Analysis (MSA)\nProcess Capability Studies\nRoot Cause Analysis\nQuality Management Systems\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nExperience with materials review and non-conforming material management.\nExperience with precision machining and complex manufacturing processes.\nExperience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), vision systems, and advanced inspection technologies.\nExperience with Minitab or equivalent statistical software.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other regulated quality systems.\nAs the Quality Control Manager, your key responsibilities will include:\nLead, mentor, and develop Quality Control Technicians, Inspectors, and Receiving Inspection personnel.\nManage inspection operations including receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.\nEstablish and maintain inspection standards, procedures, and work instructions.\nEnsure compliance with customer, engineering, industry, and regulatory requirements.\nOversee calibration, metrology, and inspection equipment programs.\nLead Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including GR&R and measurement capability studies.\nSupport new product introductions, product transfers, process validation, and production readiness activities.\nManage the Material Review Board (MRB) process and nonconforming material disposition.\nLead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.\nAnalyze quality metrics including FPY, scrap, rework, COPQ, defect rates, and inspection effectiveness.\nDrive Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability improvements, and defect prevention initiatives.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts using methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, DMAIC, and PDCA.\nPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Engineering, and Compliance teams to resolve quality issues and support audits, product launches, and strategic improvement projects.\nHow we care for you:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, annual profit sharing, matching 401k and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts \nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance \nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages \nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs \nCollaborative and Welcoming Workplace: Inclusive culture rooted in our values, enhanced by Employee Resource Groups, and team-building activities.\nAdditional site-specific benefits may be offered\n#LI-MB #LI-Onsite\nSalary Range Transparency:\nBuffalo, NY $100,000.00-$135,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer\nThe base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
