We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team at our electronics manufacturing and design facility at Ringaskiddy, Cork.\nJob Summary\nThe Quality Engineer is part of the quality team, reports to the Quality and Lean Integration Manager, and is expected to work independently with limited supervision.\nThe Quality Engineer is responsible for designing, monitoring and improving quality control systems to ensure that products and manufacturing processes meet company standards and customer requirements.\nThe job tasks require collaboration and interfacing with customers, corporate / group quality engineering functions, and internal functions like programme management, product engineering, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, supplier quality engineering, supply chain and senior management.\nThe job requires on-site presence. Local and international travel may be required from time to time.\nSpecific Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport Continuous Improvement of Quality & Quality Systems.\nReview of customer requirements, identification and ensuring compliance to quality related requirement.\nReview and approval of Engineering Change Requests.\nLead and support AS9145 (APQP) activities like Product Specific Quality Plans, FMEA, Control plans, MSA, First Article Inspection Reports and PPAP.\nLead and support 8D investigations of customer claims, provide reports and communication with customers as required.\nMonitoring production quality yields and drive improvements by using Lean and Six Sigma methods -
