For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.\nJob Title:\nRelease Train EngineerReporting To:\nDirector, ProgramWork Schedule:\nHybrid - Buffalo, NYWe are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support our Engineering Center of Excellence (ECoE), an organization responsible for delivering and continuously improving engineering capabilities across Moog's Military Aircraft Group.\nIn this role, you'll serve as the servant leader and coordinator for a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Release Train (ART), helping multiple teams align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions that support engineering, product lifecycle management (PLM), and business transformation initiatives.\nThis position is ideal for a technical program leader who enjoys working across organizational boundaries, enabling teams to succeed, and driving execution in a complex environment.\nTo be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically bring with you:\nBachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience.\nExperience leading technical programs, projects, Agile teams, or complex cross-functional initiatives.\nExperience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar Agile environment.\nStrong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.\nExperience coordinating activities across multiple workstreams, teams, or functional organizations.\nExperience using Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.\nIt’s preferred if you bring:\nSAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), Scrum Master, Product Owner/Product Manager, SPC, or related Agile certification.\nExperience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital engineering, engineering operations, or business transformation initiatives.\nExperience within aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or other complex technical environments.\nExperience facilitating large-scale planning events and coordinating geographically dispersed teams.\nAs Release Train Engineer, you will:\nLead Program Increment (PI) Planning activities and coordinate execution across multiple cross-functional teams.\nFacilitate Agile Release Train ceremonies including ART Syncs, Inspect & Adapt workshops, System Demos, and planning events.\nCoordinate work across engineering, business, and IT teams to ensure delivery commitments remain aligned and achievable.\nIdentify and remove impediments, proactively manage dependencies, and help teams navigate risks and changing priorities.\nPartner with Product Managers, Team Coaches, Architects, and business stakeholders to support successful execution of quarterly objectives.\nTrack progress against Program Increment goals and communicate delivery status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.\nSupport release planning and deployment activities, ensuring work from multiple teams is synchronized for successful delivery.\nUtilize Azure DevOps and Agile planning tools to improve transparency, planning effectiveness, and delivery performance.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on flow, predictability, quality, and value delivery.\nCoach teams and stakeholders on Lean-Agile principles and SAFe best practices while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.\nHow we care for you:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities , matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
