For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.\nJob Title:\nSenior Development Process Assurance EngineerReporting To:\nQuality Director, Commercial OEWork Schedule:\nHybrid - Tewkesbury, GBR*This is a Fixed Term Position*\nThe Senior Development Process Assurance Engineer provides independent quality assurance oversight of software, electronic hardware, and test equipment software development programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and company development processes.\nThis position assesses development process effectiveness, identifies program risks, supports corrective actions, and drives continuous improvement across the product development lifecycle while partnering closely with engineering, program management, and quality leadership. This role offers the opportunity to influence mission-critical aerospace programs and help ensure the successful development, certification, and delivery of advanced aerospace products.\nAs the Senior Development Process Assurance Engineer, you will:\nPerform independent assessments, audits, and reviews of engineering development activities and work products to verify compliance with company processes, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.\nTailor standard assurance tools and methodologies to specific development programs while maintaining consistency with established Development Process Assurance requirements.\nEvaluate engineering lifecycle activities including requirements management, systems engineering, design, implementation, verification, validation, configuration management, problem reporting, and change control processes.\nIdentify process nonconformances, gaps, and improvement opportunities; assess associated program risks; and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective corrective action closure.\nMonitor project quality and process performance metrics and provide objective reporting to program and functional leadership regarding compliance status, emerging risks, and process effectiveness.\nServe as a trusted advisor to engineering teams and management regarding development assurance expectations, regulatory requirements, and best practices.\nLead organizational awareness and training efforts related to Development Process Assurance methodologies, requirements, and best practices.\nSupport regulatory, customer, and internal audits as required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve development processes, reduce waste, and enhance organizational effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives.\nTravel to other Moog locations as required.\nTo be considered for the Senior Development Process Assurance Engineer position, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n6+ years of experience supporting aerospace product development, development assurance, quality assurance, certification, or regulatory compliance activities.\nExperience conducting audits, assessments, or compliance reviews against established engineering processes and standards.\nUnderstanding of engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements management, systems engineering, verification and validation, configuration management, problem reporting, and change control.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify process risks and drive effective corrective actions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.\nIt would be nice if you also had:\nExperience supporting airborne software and/or airborne electronic hardware development programs.\nKnowledge of aerospace development and certification standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754.\nExperience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE), requirements management, or modern engineering lifecycle management tools.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity considerations in aerospace product development.\nExperience driving process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.\nAdvanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.\nHow we care for you:\nFlexible benefits package and development
