You will ensure strong financial stewardship across the site, including cost accounting, inventory control, budgeting, manufacturing cost analysis, overhead management, and financial reporting. You will provide actionable insights that improve productivity, profitability, working capital performance, and operational effectiveness.\nYou will lead a team of finance professionals and drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and operational decision support. In addition, you will participate actively in strategic projects across the Operating Group ensuring a successful implementation and cultural adoption of new systems and tools.\nTo be considered for the Senior Finance Manager, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.\nCPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.\nMinimum of seven (7) years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably with prior relevant experience in the manufacturing or related industry.\nDemonstrated leadership experience\nStrong experience in:Manufacturing cost accounting\nInventory accounting and controls\nOperations finance business partnering\nFinancial controls and compliance\n\nAdvanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4 Hana, OneStream)\nStrong Excel capabilities and experience with business intelligence and reporting tools\nKnowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing KPIs\nStrong business acumen and analytical skills.\nAbility to influence senior operational leaders.\nProven ability to drive change and continuous improvement.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.\nAs a Senior Finance Manager, you will:\nFinancial Leadership & Business Partnership\nServe as a strategic finance partner to the Site General Manager/Operations Director as well as site leadership team.\nProvide financial guidance and challenge assumptions to drive improved business performance and accountability.\nSupport operational decision-making through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations.\nTranslate financial results into meaningful operational insights and recommendations.\nBudgeting & Performance Management\nLead the annual operating budget planning for the site.\nManage site cost center budgets and ensure alignment with business objectives.\nMaintain KPIs related to productivity, labor efficiency, material usage, overhead absorption, and manufacturing performance.\nPresent monthly performance reviews to site and business leadership.\nCost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance\nOwn product costing methodologies and standard cost processes.\nEnsure accurate cost allocation, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.\nAnalyze material, labor, overhead, and manufacturing variances and recommend improvement actions.\nPartner with operations to identify cost savings opportunities and improve manufacturing profitability.\nSupport new product introductions, capital projects, and operational improvement initiatives.\nInventory & Working Capital Management\nMaintain strong controls over inventory accounting and valuation.\nPartner with supply chain and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and inventory turns.\nMonitor obsolete, excess, and slow-moving inventory and drive appropriate actions.\nSupport working capital improvement initiatives with a focus on inventory optimization.\nFinancial Controls & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.\nEnsure revenue recognition is in accordance with ASC 606 and reviews EAC’s of long-term projects for accuracy and compliance\nOwn month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.\nLead and coordinate internal and external audit requirements.\nMaintain a strong control environment and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements, where applicable.\nDrive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.\nEstablish clear objectives and performance expectations.\nFoster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nHow We Care for You:\nFinancial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities , matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts\nWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistance.\nHealth & Welfare: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan (“EAP”) and other supplemental benefit coverages.\nProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programs\nCulture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment driven by our 12 core values.
