The Supplier Lead is responsible for supplier surveillance, performance management, risk mitigation, and ensuring effective communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Lead Time performance.\nA core focus of this role will be developing strong supplier partnerships, driving supplier performance improvements, executing corrective actions, and ensuring supplier commitments align with business and operational requirements. The Supplier Lead will lead problem-solving activities, support supplier development initiatives, and provide regional expertise to strengthen overall supply chain performance.\nAs a Supplier Lead, you will:\nDevelop and manage effective supplier relationships to achieve business requirements.\nServe as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, ensuring strong collaboration and communication.\nConduct surveillance and monitoring activities for assigned suppliers.\nEvaluate supplier performance and identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks.\nManage purchase orders to ensure current and accurate delivery information is maintained through standard systems and processes.\nDrive the timely and effective closure of root cause investigations and corrective actions.\nExpedite supplier deliveries when required to support site operational requirements.\nLead problem-solving activities to resolve issues impacting supplier relationships and supply chain performance.\nSupport and, when appropriate, lead supplier recovery and performance improvement initiatives.\nProvide regional support for supplier selection, supplier development, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.\nLeverage regional and supplier knowledge to support supply chain planning activities.\nIdentify and pursue opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and lead time performance.\nCollaborate across multiple functions, cultures, and geographic regions to achieve global supply chain objectives.\nTravel regularly to supplier locations within the designated region and occasionally to Moog sites outside the region as required.\nTo be considered for the Supplier Lead position, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.\nUp to 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex supply chain challenges.\nWorking knowledge of procurement processes, contractual requirements, business systems, and supply chain operations.\nExperience managing supplier performance and supporting supplier development activities.\nEffective communication and relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines.\nWillingness and ability to travel extensively, including regular supplier visits within the assigned region.\nAbility to collaborate and influence across multiple functions, cultures, and geographic regions.\nIt would be nice if you also had:\nEngineering or technical background.\nProject or Program Management experience.\nProfessional certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Program Management.\nMaster’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience within the Aerospace industry.\nKnowledge of procurement and contractual law.\nExperience supporting supplier selection, supplier development, and new product introduction programs.\nNegotiation experience with
