This role works directly with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, development teams, and solution providers to translate business and operational needs into scalable, reliable, and sustainable technology solutions.\nThe Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, and driving the implementation, integration, testing and operational health of our solution portfolio. This individual will contribute to application lifecycle management, systems integration initiatives, process optimization efforts, and continuous improvement activities across DSE's enterprise application portfolio.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with ownership focus and a delivery mindset.\nThis hybrid role requires regular onsite presence at our corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York, in accordance with company requirements.\nTo be considered for the Systems Analyst role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. \nFive (5) or more years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise applications, and performing systems analysis, business systems analysis, or related functions. \nHands-on experience applying knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques to analyze data and troubleshoot application and data issues. \nExperience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements. \nExperience analyzing and improving business processes. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities while working independently with limited supervision. \nWe would also prefer the Systems Analyst to have the following skills and experience:\nExperience supporting manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, finance, or HR business processes. \nExperience with ERP, MES, CRM, SaaS, and enterprise application platforms. \nExperience working within Agile delivery environments. \nExperience with Azure DevOps. \nExperience defining API and integration requirements. \nExperience supporting application modernization initiatives. \nFamiliarity with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure. \nExperience leveraging AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude, and similar platforms to improve productivity, solution development, and business analysis activities. \nThe Systems Analyst will also work with the following platforms and technologies:\nMicrosoft Azure \nAzure DevOps (ADO) \nSQL Server and other data platforms \nEnterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution and Product Lifecycle Management systems \nREST APIs and Enterprise Integrations \nMicrosoft Power Platform \nReporting and Analytics Solutions \nEnterprise Identity and Access Management Platforms \nApplication Lifecycle Management and SDLC Tooling \nAI-Assisted Development and Analysis Tools including Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude, and related solutions \nAs a Systems Analyst, you will:\nEnterprise Application Analysis & Support\nSupport the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise business applications. \nPerform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex applications, systems and process issues. \nCoordinate with development teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver solutions. \nAnalyze application performance and operational characteristics, and drive improvements to reliability, performance, usability, maintainability, supportability, and operational effectiveness. \nSystems Integration & Data Analysis\nAnalyze system interfaces, integration requirements, and data flows between enterprise applications. \nDefine integration requirements and lead the implementation, testing, and validation of APIs, data integrations, and enterprise platform integrations in accordance with established architecture standards and patterns.\nDevelop and execute data analysis activities using SQL and reporting tools as necessary. \nSupport data validation, conversion, migration, and reconciliation activities. \nBusiness Process Analysis & Requirements Management\nPartner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, business objectives, and process improvement opportunities. \nFacilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops. \nAnalyze and document business processes, workflows, use cases, and system requirements. \nDefine and maintain functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing solutions. \nAssist in evaluating business impacts and identifying solution alternatives. \nContinuous Improvement & Modernization\nIdentify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and technology. \nSupport application modernization initiatives and digital transformation efforts. \nParticipate in governance, change management, release management, and SDLC activities. \nEvaluate emerging technologies, automation solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve operational
