This role combines engineering, project coordination, technical documentation, and operational support to deliver reliable and intuitive workplace technology experiences.\nThe ideal candidate is passionate about improving the end-user experience, enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, and seeks opportunities to automate, standardize, and modernize collaboration services. While some operational support responsibilities exist, the primary focus of this role is on engineering scalable solutions, developing support processes, and driving technology improvements across a global environment.\nThis role is hybrid based out of our East Aurora, NY offices.\nTo be considered for the Voice and Video Engineer role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:\n5+ years of experience supporting collaboration, AV, unified communications, or endpoint technologies.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or enterprise conference room technologies.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nFoundational networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless networking concepts.\nExperience creating technical documentation and support procedures.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Intune device management.\nUnderstanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ServiceNow ticketing workflows.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nWe would also prefer the Voice and Video Engineer to have the following skills and experience:\nExperience administering Appspace digital signage solutions.\nFamiliarity with Utelogy monitoring and management platforms.\nExperience supporting Teams-certified room systems and peripherals.\nBasic PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting experience.\nExperience supporting enterprise AV environments.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 administration and Teams administration.\nExposure to monitoring and analytics platforms for collaboration technologies.\nProject management or project coordination experience.\nAs a Voice and Video Engineer , you will:\nVoice & Video Engineering\nSupport the design, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Teams Rooms and conference room technologies across global locations.\nAssist in standardizing conference room technology platforms, hardware configurations, and deployment processes.\nParticipate in testing, validation, and implementation of new collaboration technologies and room solutions.\nCollaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve room reliability, usability, and adoption.\nSupport room health monitoring, performance analysis, and proactive remediation efforts.\nDigital Signage Management\nAdminister and support the global Appspace digital signage platform.\nDevelop and maintain digital signage standards, device configurations, and content delivery processes.\nSupport deployment and lifecycle management of signage endpoints and infrastructure.\nPartner with business stakeholders to improve digital communication strategies through signage technology.\nDocumentation & Knowledge Management\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, support procedures, and operational runbooks.\nDevelop end-user training materials and self-service resources.\nProduce standardized knowledge articles for Service Desk and Site Support teams.\nEnsure documentation remains current and aligned with engineering standards and operational practices.\nProject Coordination & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in infrastructure and collaboration technology projects from planning through deployment.\nAssist with project tracking, stakeholder communications, risk identification, and implementation activities.\nHelp identify process improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.\nContribute to roadmap planning and technology lifecycle management initiatives.\nTroubleshooting & Operational Support\nServe as a technical escalation point for Voice, Video, and Digital Signage-related issues.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, room systems, and conferencing challenges.\nWork closely with Service Desk, Site Support, Networking, Infrastructure, and Vendor partners to resolve issues.\nPerform root cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions for recurring problems.\nAutomation & Systems Integration\nAssist with scripting and automation initiatives to streamline administration and operational tasks.\nSupport integrations between collaboration platforms, monitoring solutions, and management systems.\nHelp automate reporting, health monitoring, and provisioning workflows where applicable.\nTrain end users on display standards and usage of the platform\nHow We Care For
