candidates from non-computer science backgrounds must have solid programming fundamentals.\nTechnical skills: Mastery of core C++ mechanisms (including object-oriented programming, memory model, modern features, STL, and common design patterns); proficiency in multithreading and network programming; familiarity with common network protocols and computer systems fundamentals.\nFinancial knowledge: Awareness of or strong interest in securities and derivatives market data and trading;
