Finance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our growing fintech team in Thailand. This role will support day-to-day finance activities, financial reporting, internal controls, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Finance team and other departments to ensure financial processes are accurate, timely, and well-organized in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Requirements

• Support day-to-day finance and accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial records, including the bank payments.
• Monitor and maintain financial data, records, and supporting documentation.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense-related processes.
• Assist with tax filing to the Revenue Department (e.g. PND3, PND53, PND54, PP30, PP36, etc.)
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties on finance-related matters.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documents and information.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in finance-related projects, system implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting, tax, and financial regulations affecting the business.
• Perform other finance-related duties and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or a technology-driven environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial data.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn, adapt, and support areas outside of the immediate scope when required.
