  • Provide thoughtful challenge and technical input on complex engagements.
  • Carry out technical research in specific areas of valuation and share key findings with the wider team.
  • Ensure the firm’s risk management and client take-on procedures are appropriately followed.

  • Manage junior team members on engagements, ensuring they are appropriately briefed and coached.
  • Contribute to the appraisal and development of junior team members, identifying development areas and supporting training plans.
  • Maintain and develop a network of professional and business contacts, recognising and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Deliver seminars and presentations (internally and externally) on valuation-related topics.
  • Contribute to the team’s digital marketing strategy through thought leadership and published content.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm, supporting marketing initiatives and promoting the wider service offering.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Significant valuation experience gained within a professional services firm at a senior level.
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and intangible asset valuations.
  • Strong ability to interpret financial statements in a valuation context.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the internal and external drivers of value for a given asset.
  • Excellent financial modelling, analytical and report writing skills.
  • Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CFA or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
