The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal tax compliance and advisory work, with experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality tax services.\nAs a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of private clients, providing personal tax compliance and supporting a range of advisory projects. You will act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships while delivering tailored advice and practical solutions. Working with high net worth individuals, partnerships and owner-managed businesses, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider tax practice to provide an integrated and high-quality client experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the day-to-day requirements of a varied Private Client portfolio, comprising clients with a range of income sources, including employment, investment and business income.\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.\nWork with owner-managed businesses, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals.\nManage a range of Capital Gains Tax matters across the portfolio.\nAssist with and deliver ad hoc private client advisory work.\nSupport the delivery of one-off compliance assignments.\nAttend client meetings and contribute to discussions on tax matters.\nPropose fees, raise client bills, and regularly monitor WIP and recoverability.\nLiaise with colleagues across the wider firm, including audit and accounts teams, to support client needs.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nATT and/or CTA qualified (or actively studying towards CTA).\nPrevious experience managing a personal tax portfolio.\nStrong knowledge of Self-Assessment and tax computations.\nExperience advising on EIS, VCT and SEIS investment reliefs.\nKnowledge of UK residence and domicile rules preferred.\nComfortable researching tax legislation and HMRC guidance.\nConfident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach.\nFor full details of the role, please download the full job description.\nBenefits","description_format":"text","description_chars":2155,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Audit & Assurance Firms","Accounting & Bookkeeping Services","Tax Advisory & Preparation"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-24T20:05:17Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
