This role is a blend of strategic partnership and hands-on operational finance. Initially, you will be instrumental in setting up business operations during the expansion phase, establishing the processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will scale with our growth. Following the establishment of the market, you will act as a vital resource for the local GM and a primary link to the corporate finance department, aiding in the clarification of forecast variances and driving the planning cycle.\nReporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will have a key support role, ensuring that local leadership has the data and financial oversight needed to optimize performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nRegional Business Partnering\nServe as the primary financial ally to Regional General Managers, providing data-driven insights to support market expansion and operational efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with GMs to create and manage regional financial statements, accurate forecasts, and detailed budgets.\n\nProvide ad hoc reporting and performance analysis to help regional teams meet their operational and financial targets.\n\nAct as the bridge between regional operations and central finance, ensuring alignment on corporate goals and reporting standards.\n\nFoundational Operations & Setup\nLead the initial financial setup of new regional entities, including establishing local financial processes.\n\nDevelop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial management and reporting at the field level.\n\nManage transactional work across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) during the initial startup phase and vendor onboarding.\n\nOversee the implementation and local management of financial systems to ensure data integrity and streamlined reporting.\n\nBusiness Partnering\nSupport the evaluation of new market investment opportunities and fleet optimization initiatives.\n\nTranslate physical regional KPIs (e.g., vehicles on road, utilization rates) into financial projections and actionable insights.\n\nIdentify regional trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.\n\nWork with the corporate finance team to aid during the planning and forecasting process.\n\nQualifications\nExperience & Background\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field; MBA or CFA a plus\n\n5-8 years of progressive experience in finance, with a preference for field finance, regional management, or operational finance roles.\n\nIndustry background in mobility, autonomous vehicles, rideshare, logistics, or fleet-based operations is a meaningful plus\n\nProven experience managing cross-border financial operations, multi-entity reporting, and international expansion within a global technology or fleet management enterprise.\n\nModeling & Technical Skills\nStrong command of Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling and scenario planning\n\nAbility to build financial models from scratch\n\nForecasting and budgeting experience\n\nMastery of advanced Excel functions: INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP, and Power Query\n\nProficiency with BI tools and financial planning systems; VBA, Python, or SQL for automating data pulls is a plus\n\nSkills & Competencies:\nDeep understanding of operational drivers in transportation technology and on-demand platforms, familiarity with metrics such as cost per mile, utilization, and AV operational performance\n\nFinancial storytelling: ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with leadership\n\nKnowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting as it flows through financial models, accruals, depreciation, and three-statement linkage\n\nStrong cross-functional communication, equally comfortable presenting to leadership and working through operational data with a fleet manager\n\nSelf-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment\n\nHigh ownership mindset: you identify what the business needs to know and build the analysis without waiting for direction\n\nWhy Join Us\nOpportunity to work in a cutting-edge, mission-driven industry shaping the future of mobility and autonomous vehicle infrastructure\n\nDirect partnership with the Head of Finance; your analysis shapes high-stakes capital and expansion decisions\n\nCollaborative, innovative, and inclusive company culture\n\nCareer growth opportunities in a rapidly scaling business with international expansion underway\n\nDrug-Free Workplace Statement\nMoove is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all employees.
