Your responsibilities will span device procurement and deployment, onboarding and offboarding, identity and access administration, application integrations, and daily troubleshooting.\nAutomation is a core part of this role. You will identify repetitive work and build reliable scripts and integrations that improve service, reduce manual effort, and support expansion into new markets. We need someone who can resolve an employee’s immediate problem and then improve the process behind it.\nThis is a hands-on role based at our Phoenix office, supporting employees across multiple locations and time zones. Hardware procurement, configuration, shipping, recovery, and inventory management are significant responsibilities alongside systems administration and automation.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nIT operations\nResolve employee IT issues involving macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, mobile devices, business applications, and connectivity.\n\nTroubleshoot account lockouts, password resets, MFA issues, and application access problems.\n\nManage assigned IT tickets, communicate progress clearly, and escalate issues when needed.\n\nIdentify recurring problems and improve documentation, processes, or automation to prevent them.\n\nParticipate in scheduled after-hours or on-call coverage for urgent issues, with coverage arrangements defined by the Network and IT lead.\n\nHardware\nProcure laptops, Chromebooks, phones, peripherals, and related equipment within approved budgets and purchasing procedures.\n\nCoordinate vendor quotes, orders, delivery, warranties, repairs, and replacements.\n\nConfigure and enroll devices in endpoint management, apply company standards, and arrange delivery to employees.\n\nCoordinate local purchasing and deployment for international employees and new market launches.\n\nRecover, securely wipe, redeploy, and decommission devices through documented procedures.\n\nMaintain accurate records of device serial numbers, assignments, locations, purchase details, warranties, and lifecycle status.\n\nAssist with site setup and basic network and Wi-Fi testing under the direction of the Network and IT team.\n\nEmployee Lifecycle\nAdminister users, groups, and permissions in JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian/Jira, and other approved business applications.\n\nCoordinate onboarding with People and hiring managers so employees have working devices and appropriate access on day one.\n\nExecute offboarding at the approved time, including account suspension, access and session revocation, device recovery, and data transfer or retention.\n\nApply role-based access standards and support periodic access reviews.\n\nMaintain MFA, endpoint compliance, and other established security controls.\n\nTrack software licenses and reclaim or reassign them when appropriate.\n\nAutomation and application integrations\nBuild and maintain scripts and API integrations for onboarding, offboarding, access administration, inventory, and recurring reports.\n\nConfigure application SSO through JumpCloud and implement provisioning and deprovisioning where supported.\n\nIntegrate approved employee lifecycle information from Deel with identity systems and Jira workflows, following agreed access and approval rules.\n\nMaintain reporting tools, including organizational charts and onboarding summaries, as systems and APIs change.\n\nBuild logging, failure alerts, validation, and recovery procedures into automation.\n\nStore integration credentials securely and maintain service accounts independently of employee accounts.\n\nDocument scripts, dependencies, runbooks, and changes so other IT staff can support them.\n\nTest changes before deployment and coordinate changes that could affect employee access or business operations.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nAt least three years of experience in IT systems administration, IT operations, or a closely related role.\n\nHands-on experience supporting employees and administering end-user devices.\n\nExperience procuring, configuring, enrolling, deploying, recovering, and tracking hardware.\n\nExperience administering an identity platform such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.\n\nExperience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.\n\nDemonstrated experience building and maintaining IT automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a comparable language.\n\nPractical experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, logging, and error handling.\n\nExperience supporting macOS and Windows, with familiarity supporting ChromeOS and mobile devices.\n\nUnderstanding of SSO, MFA, role-based access, and employee onboarding and offboarding.\n\nClear communication, strong documentation habits, and the ability to prioritize competing support and project needs.\n\nAbility to work on-site in Phoenix and support occasional scheduled after-hours work.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Asana, or Deel.\n\nExperience with endpoint management platforms such as JumpCloud MDM, Jamf, or Intune.\n\nExperience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations.\n\nExperience supporting employees across multiple countries and time zones.\n\nFamiliarity with Apple Business Manager and automated device enrollment.\n\nBasic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.\n\nExperience in a growing company where processes and systems are still being established.\n\nRelevant IT, identity, endpoint management, or security certifications.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nNew hires receive working hardware and approved access on day one.\n\nOffboarding actions are completed at the approved time, with access revoked and company data handled correctly.\n\nEmployees receive timely support and clear communication.\n\nDevice and license records remain accurate as people and equipment move between locations.\n\nRepetitive work is progressively automated, with measurable reductions in manual effort.\n\nScripts and integrations are monitored, documented, and recoverable when failures occur.\n\nNew markets receive consistent IT support and deployment processes.\n\nWho You’ll Work With\nYou will report directly to the Director of Network and IT, and work closely with People, Engineering, Operations, and employees across Moove’s markets.\nThe Network and IT lead will set team priorities, technical standards, architecture, and vendor strategy.
