This role ensures integrity over stock movement, consumption, valuation, wastage, variances, internal controls, and month-end reporting.\nThe position covers all stock-holding departments, including:\nBeverage\nHousekeeping (Amenities & Cleaning)\nGalleries & Creative Lab (Retail, Art, Curated Product)\nKitchen (Food & Cleaning Products)\nSpa (Retail & Professional Products)\nMedication & First Aid Stock\nStationery (Branded Collateral & Other)\nOperational Equipment (OE) per department\nThe Inventory Controller is the custodian of inventory accuracy at property level and ensures that all data fed to the Financial Manager and Support Office is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nInventory Governance & Daily Controls\nOversee all daily stock movements across all departments.\nEnsure full SOP compliance at all times.Verify all transactions captured by the Inventory Administrator, including:\nPurchase Orders\nGRNs\nTransfers (Internal & External)\nWastage /Write Off\nCredit\nIssues / Consumption\nMaster Data Updates\nReject and correct inaccuracies before daily cut-off.\nEnsure item categorisation (UOM, Cost, VAT rules) aligns with Group standards.\n\nSales vs Consumption Reconciliation (High-Risk Areas)\nReconcile POS sales vs inventory depletion for:\nBar (Minibar, Game Drive & Incl Sales)\nGallery & Creative Lab Retail\nSpa Retail\nValidate recipe-linked items for correct depletion (cocktails, pouring).\nInvestigate all consumption discrepancies same-day.\nEnforce “no replenishment without reconciliation” per SOP.\nTransfers, Issues, Wastage & Credit Management\nVerify all transfers include:\nCorrect documentation\nSignatures\nMatched values\nEnsure all departmental issues are supported by usage sheets.\nValidate all wastage entries and ensure proper authorisation.\nConfirm supplier credits are correctly raised and reconciled.\nPurchase Order Controls & Budget Alignment\nValidate purchasing requests against: Department budgets\nApproved PAR levels\nMin/Max or ROP settings\nConfirm all POs use correct item codes, UOM, supplier, price, and delivery details.\nNotify Group Inventory Manager of unusual changes or irregularities.\nReceiving, Storage & Storeroom Integrity (via Storeman)\nOversight of:\nGRN accuracy and 3-way matching (PO → Delivery Note → Invoice)\nFIFO rotation & expiry control\nChemical segregation & OE protection\nStoreroom access control & key registers\nWeekly storeroom housekeeping & safety audits\nNote: The Storeman executes physical tasks;
