Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.\nResponsibilities\nSupport Finance Controller in managing financial operations of the GBU and ensure compliance with policies as well as maintaining the integrity of financial processes. Prepare monthly and year-end closing activities, journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare and issue accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports for internal and corporate use, supporting the monthly forecast.\nFinance Oversight: Oversee finance activities, including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities and potentially payroll.\nCompliance: Ensure robust internal controls and documentation to comply with financial regulations and group policies. Assist with internal and external audits.\nBudgeting and Forecasting: Support the annual budget preparation and reporting, developing tools for future use. Monitor performance against the budget and provide variance analysis.\nReporting and Documentation: Prepare or ensure the preparation of reports required by regulatory agencies.\nProcess Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.\nFinancial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and variances. Assist in financial modelling and scenario analysis.\nTeam Management: Supervise and mentor finance staff. Provide guidance and support for their professional development.\nAd-hoc Projects: Assist with special projects and analysis as needed, including system implementations and process optimizations.\nThe above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required. Other duties may be assigned from time to time.\nQualifications\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.\nExperience in financial reporting and control, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment.\nProven experience (typically 5-8 years) in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.\nProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
