Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.\nResponsibilities\nMorgan Advanced Materials is looking for a Cleaning & Plating Operator to join our manufacturing team in Auburn, California.\nThis is a hands-on production position responsible for the careful cleaning, handling, and plating of precision ceramic components. This role is a good fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and takes pride in producing quality work.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOperate production equipment according to work instructions and product specifications.\nClean, prepare, and plate precision ceramic components.\nInspect parts visually and by touch to ensure quality requirements are met.\nComplete production paperwork and computer-based production records accurately.\nSet up and shut down equipment and production areas.\nPerform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.\nFollow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.\nWork with production chemicals and materials, including solvents, acids, and nickel-plating solutions.\nParticipate in continuous-improvement activities, including Lean and workplace organization initiatives.\nWork cooperatively with team members, supervisors, Quality, and other departments.\nQualifications\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with 0-1 year of experience.\nAbility to follow written work instructions and product specifications.\nAbility to read and interpret basic blueprints and manufacturing documentation.\nStrong attention to detail.\nGood manual dexterity and eyesight for handling and inspecting precision parts.\nBasic computer skills.\nDependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.\nPhysical & Work Environment\nThis is an active manufacturing position. Employees regularly stand and walk throughout the shift and may bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements. The position also involves moving production materials and working around industrial chemicals while wearing required PPE.\nSchedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
