Utilize skills to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and improve all power distribution and manufacturing equipment including:\nFollow all Morgan safety standards and guide lines.\nFollow all NFPA and National Electrical codes.\nUtilize all Arc Flash gear when called upon.\nA Journeyman's card or the completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program is preferred.\nAn associate degree is highly desirable.\nMust be available to work any shift schedule as assigned.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to lift 50 lbs.\nAbility to stand or kneel for extended periods of time\nAbility to reach above head level when working on elevated equipment\nAbility to ascend and descend ladder or stairs\nAbility to push and pull equipment into proper placement\nAbility to work in extreme or hot, cold environments\nEvaluates opportunities to improve equipment and reduce downtime\nProvide technical support for all electrical process equipment\nPerform moderate to complex installation, troubleshoot and repairs.\nDiagnose and repair equipment and components such as motors, drives, relays, starters and other related electrical devices used for industrial equipment.\nInsure that no safety devices are by-passed or eliminated without proper authorization.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision but also with others in a team environment.\nPerform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment.\nPerform tasks as directed by plant supervisor.\nQualifications\n1\nMust have documented proof of experience in the industrial electrical field and/or a journeyman's card.\nThe ability to work with other trades to accomplish a positive outcome.\nMust be a US Person as defined by 22CFR120.15.\nSkill and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
