We're looking for a procurement professional who knows the realities of both logistics and packaging. These are categories that directly affect cost, service, customer delivery, operational efficiency, and resilience across our global manufacturing network. While this role is fully remote, we're looking for someone based within the Eastern Time Zone to support our North American operations whilst partnering with stakeholders and suppliers across the globe.The Role\nThis is a global category leadership position with ownership of both Logistics and Packaging spend.You'll develop category strategies, lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and operational teams across multiple regions. One day you might be negotiating freight agreements across several continents. The next, you'll be reviewing packaging solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and overall cost.We're looking for someone who can comfortably switch between strategic thinking and practical execution, and who understands how closely logistics and packaging work together within a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and execute global category strategies across Logistics and Packaging. \nLead strategic sourcing activity covering transportation, freight, warehousing, customs, packaging materials, and packaging suppliers. \nManage relationships with logistics providers, including 3PL and 4PL partners, as well as key packaging suppliers. \nNegotiate global and regional agreements that deliver value, improve service levels, and strengthen supply chain resilience. \nPartner with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and procurement teams across North America, Europe, and Asia. \nIdentify opportunities to optimise packaging specifications, reduce waste, and support sustainability goals.\nDrive supplier performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and category governance. \nAssess and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks across both categories. \nLead cross-functional procurement projects from strategy through to implementation\nQualifications\nAbout You\nProven procurement or category management experience within Logistics, Packaging, or ideally both. \nStrong category expertise across freight, transportation, warehousing, customs, and logistics services. \nDemonstrable experience sourcing and managing packaging categories, including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, and cost optimisation.\nExperience managing strategic supplier relationships and delivering measurable business value. \nStrong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering savings and operational improvements. \nComfortable working within a global manufacturing or industrial environment.\nAble to influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and levels of seniority.\nSelf-motivated and comfortable operating remotely whilst staying closely connected to the business.\nWhat You'll Get\nA genuinely global role with ownership of two business-critical spend categories. \nSignificant exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic procurement initiatives. \nThe opportunity to shape supplier strategy and supply chain performance across an international manufacturing business. \nCompetitive salary, bonus, benefits, and opportunities for long-term career development. \nFully remote working with flexibility, whilst remaining connected to a global procurement team.\nInterested?\nIf you've negotiated freight contracts, optimised packaging solutions, navigated supply chain challenges, and lived to tell the tale, we'd like to hear from you.Apply today to learn more.Don't have an up-to-date CV?
