Behind every set of numbers is a team making sure the detail is right, deadlines are met, and financial controls are working as they should.\nWe're looking for a Junior Reporting Accountant to join our Shared Service Centre in Juriquilla, Querétaro. You'll support the Group Reporting team, working with colleagues across Europe on reconciliations, statutory accounting, reporting activities and audit requirements. As you'll be collaborating with international stakeholders on a daily basis, fluent English is essential.\nThe Role\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting and reconciliation experience who wants exposure to a global finance environment.\nYou'll support month-end reporting activities, maintain balance sheet accounts, assist with statutory compliance requirements, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time.\nResponsibilities\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport general ledger accounting activities and maintain assigned accounts.\nProcess, record, maintain and reconcile accruals, prepayments, provisions and other balance sheet accounts.\nComplete monthly reconciliations in line with agreed deadlines.\nInvestigate and resolve reconciliation queries efficiently.\nSupport statutory accounting and compliance activities across the EMEA region.\nAssist with the preparation and filing of statutory accounts.\nWork with external auditors and other professional advisers during audit and compliance activities.\nHelp document and standardise finance processes across the region.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and best practice development.\nProvide support to the wider finance and reporting team when required.\nQualifications\nWhat You'll Bring\nPrevious experience in financial reporting, accounting, reconciliations, or a similar finance role.\nFluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.\nStrong reconciliation skills and understanding of month-end accounting processes.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.\nExcellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.\nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.\nThe ability to work independently and use initiative when solving problems.\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams and cultures.\nExperience handling confidential information in a professional manner.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP system would be advantageous.\nExperience working within a multinational business would be beneficial but isn't essential. ]\nWhat You'll Get\nHybrid working with three days per week in the Querétaro office.\nExposure to a global finance and reporting function.\nThe opportunity to work with colleagues across the EMEA region.\nExperience supporting statutory accounts, audits, reporting and financial controls.\nA collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development.\nInterested to Learn More?\nIf this sounds like you, apply now.\nDon't have an up-to-date resume?
