Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.\nResponsibilities\nJob Purpose:\nThe Machine Operator role is responsible for working with machinery from setup to operation. Machine Operators work with manual and/or CNC equipment to make sure they are set up properly, working efficiently, and producing quality product.\n1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm\n3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 7:30amWill need to train on 1st shift - Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm\n\nEssential Functions:\nUse of surface grinders, Bridgeport type mills, OD/ID grinders, Wire Band Saws and Rotary Grinders for manual machine operations.\nMaintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and standards.\nComplete all relevant documentation while maintaining product traceability throughout the process.\nClean and maintain equipment and work area, (6S Principals).\nPerform mechanical and visual inspection of ceramics using various inspection equipment.\nPerform safety checks on every machine where certified to operate.\nEnsure that machines are producing quality products by performing periodic checks on output.\nCarry out basic regular and preventative maintenance procedures.\nRead product drawings and methods to visualize machining/grinding to be done and planned sequence of operation.\nMust be flexible with cross-training in other departments.\nPerform various tasks and all other duties as required/assigned by Production Supervisor.\nConduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and with Morgan Hudson NH, EHS Guidelines. Guidelines include but not limited to participation in required EHS training and use of proper PPE.
