It's a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the scope to improve systems, develop people, and make a visible impact on plant performance.The Role\nAs Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of maintenance across production equipment, utilities, and site facilities. You'll lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate external contractors, and ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.You'll balance day-to-day operational demands with longer-term improvement projects, helping the site increase reliability, reduce costs, and support future growth.Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nLead all maintenance activities across production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities\nRun preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance programmes\nManage and develop a team of mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians\nCoordinate external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and effectively\nMonitor equipment performance and investigate recurring reliability issues\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that improve uptime, efficiency, and operational performance\nManage spare parts availability and oversee warehouse inventory\nControl the maintenance budget and identify opportunities to optimise costs\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and company standards\nPrepare maintenance reports and performance metrics\nSupport the selection, specification, and commissioning of new equipment\nContribute to training programmes that promote best maintenance practices and effective machine operation \nQualifications\nAbout You\nYou’ll suit this role if you bring:\nExperience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment\nStrong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems\nProven experience leading and developing maintenance teams\nStrong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nThe ability to make sound decisions under pressure and deal with unexpected equipment failures (and live to tell the tale)\nGood understanding of occupational health and safety requirements\nComfortable using maintenance systems, reports, and digital tools\nExperience working with contractors, suppliers, and spare parts management\nA Bachelor’s / Masters’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, particularly with proven experience in electrical systems.
