Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.\nResponsibilities\nMajor Responsibilities: The Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The role is an exciting opportunity to join a global, dynamic, Hi-Tech team, supporting the medical and aerospace industries. We are the industry leader in development and manufacturer of ceramic to metal seals for both Aerospace and Medical markets. We help improve the quality of life with our implantable medical components, and we ensure the safety of travelers by developing multiple components for the Aerospace industry.\nEssential Functions:\nPerform various tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor.\nMaintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and standards.\nPerform detailed assembly operations using microscopes, tweezers, micrometers, or dial indicators.\nPerform one or more repetitive bench operations.\nCompletes all relevant documentation.\nMaintains material inspection records\nCleans and maintains equipment & work area.\nMicroscope use is required.\nConduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and with Morgan New Bedford, MA EHS Guidelines. Guidelines include but not limited to participation in required EHS training and use of proper PPE. Employees are responsible for reporting hazardous conditions and job-related injuries or illnesses to their supervisor.\nPerforms training/cross-training as required.\nPerforms one or more of the following assembly/verification operations:Assembly\nHelium leak Test\nElectrical Testing\nVisual Inspection\n\nMetalizing\nOperator\nPerform basic metalizing task, such as screen printing, hand-painting, injecting, scribing, roller-coating, dabbing, dip & spray, etc.\nApplies various metallizing inks and/or liquid resin to parts using hand-held paint brushes to a wide range of parts, with the aid of a microscope at times.\nPrecision coats within scribed lines.\nMounts parts in chuck of power-drive spindle and operates to apply uniform coating with various inks.\nMakes small adjustments to ink viscosity.\nOperates electric centrifuge machine and adjusts RPM and time cycle of same.\nDries painted ceramic parts using portable electric dryers, heat lamps and transite ovens and prepares parts for next operation.\nInspects painted and unpainted parts visually and mechanically using microscopes, gauges, scales and micrometers.\nResponsible for following proper metalizing application on ceramics. Monitor changes that would affect proper metalizing coverage.\nWorks with Engineers to develop methods for prototype parts.\nMust work in a clean room environment. \nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications and Education Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
