This role sits within a Shared Service Centre environment supporting multiple entities and stakeholders across the region. If you've worked in an SSC before, you'll know that no two days are quite the same. One minute you're reviewing month-end reconciliations, the next you're helping untangle a reporting issue that's been bouncing around various inboxes for weeks.This is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, likes investigating problems properly, and can keep things moving without creating drama where none is needed.\nThe Role\nYou'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining balance sheet integrity, supporting statutory accounting requirements, and ensuring reporting deadlines are met across assigned entities.You'll work closely with finance teams, auditors, and key stakeholders across multiple countries, helping to create a more efficient, standardised, and well-controlled reporting functionResponsibilities\nWhat You'll Do\nRun month-end and year-end reporting activities for assigned entities\nPrepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions\nOwn balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items\nInvestigate reporting discrepancies and work with stakeholders to reach resolution\nSupport statutory accounts preparation and local compliance requirements\nManage audit requests and provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors\nDrive consistency across accounting processes within the Shared Service Centre\nIdentify opportunities to improve controls, automate reporting activities and reduce manual effort\nPartner with finance teams across multiple countries and business units\nHelp strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies\nQualifications\nWhat You'll Bring\nExperience working within a Shared Service Centre finance environment\nStrong general ledger, reporting and reconciliation experience\nPrevious responsibility for month-end close activities\nExperience supporting multiple legal entities, business units or countries\nConfidence managing relationships with stakeholders across different locations\nExperience supporting audit and compliance activities\nStrong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems\nA naturally curious mindset and willingness to investigate issues rather than simply pass them on\nGood organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines\nProfessional accounting qualification, part qualification, or equivalent experience would be
