We believe in our people and trust that they are the backbone of our success.\nPosition Details:\nIn-Office based position\nMonday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch \nGenerous vacation, personal and sick day entitlements\nResponsibilities\nPrepare and submit client invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines and requirements. \nEnter invoice details, deposit information, and other relevant data into the accounting system, Eclipse, accurately and promptly.\nAssist with the maintenance of our internal billing software to allow for seamless LEM creation for our Project staff. Ensure that client contract rates are reflected accurately within the system.\nInvestigate and resolve billing issues, collaborating with internal teams and customers to ensure prompt resolution.\nServe as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for AR processes, assisting colleagues with routine inquiries.\nPerform data integrity checks to ensure billing is compliant with internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaborate with the Billing/AR Supervisor and finance team to streamline and improve AR processes.\nParticipate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to financial planning and analysis activities.\nAssist with weekly and monthly departmental programming, including ad hoc reporting as requested.\nAssist with audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.\nSupport quarter-end and year-end reconciliations, reporting, including government compliance reporting.\nUpdate Deposit Forecast and Unbilled Deposit Forecast.\nProvide Preliminary Accruals and Final Accruals.\nProvide Training/Support to Billing Team and Site Admin Team.\nAssist with client audits as required.\nProvide ongoing Billing System Administration in the set up of Jobs, Price Book, and new users.\nBackup to the Billing/AR Supervisor in day-to-day function.\nQualifications\nRequirements\nMinimum 5 years of AR/Billing experience, financial analysis expertise, preferably in civil construction or a related industry.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.\nProven experience with online client invoice submittal systems.\nCompetencies\nStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.\nExcellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written; comfortable asking questions and clarifying when needed.\nExcellent time management, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nSelf-starter - possesses initiative to take corrective action to prevent mistakes.\nAble to manage workload within timelines given, and communicate effectively as priorities shift.\nA collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and genuine curiosity.\nComfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.\nCommitted to continuous improvement and supporting team objectives.\nExperience with Explorer Contract Manager (Eclipse) is considered an asset but not required.\nPromote Morgan’s core values and Pillars of Excellence.\nAbout Morgan:\nOver the past 40+ years, Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects.
