Reinvesting tens of millions of dollars back into Morgan Olson’s production facilities with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced automation technologies, producing the safest and most efficient \"last mile\" home delivery work trucks on the market today.\n\nPay: $19.50\n2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm\n3rd Shift 10pm-6am\n$2 per hour shift differential = $21.50\n\nJob Title: Machine Operator\n\nJob Description:\nOperates basic machine shop equipment such as brake presses, shears, saws, grinders, and drill presses to produce production and non-production (repair) parts to required tolerances.\nEssential Functions and Activities:\nEnsures that all safety devices are in place and operational.\nVerifies that materials required by the work order are available and correct.\nSets up and operates CNC punch press or brake press. \nPerforms first piece inspection to verify compliance with blueprint specifications and performs intermediate inspection of parts to assure that material stays within tolerances specified for the run.\nCompletes all operations specified on work order within the time standards listed.\nMaintains cleanliness and orderliness of work area.\nSupports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.\nAdheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer-focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.\nAdheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.\nOther duties as required.\nPhysical Requirements/Hazards:\nJob requires extensive standing, lifting, reaching, twisting, and turning to fabricate parts. Lifting will involve material weighing anywhere from several pounds to 50 pounds. \nPPE: Steel toed safety shoes, Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection is always required.
