Read on.\nWhat you'll do in the role:\nPerform security assessments of targeted assets to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.\n\nProvide coverage of the key controls supporting cybersecurity with specific focus on penetration testing/ethical hacking processes.\n\nParticipate in planning, testing, documentation, and determining effectiveness of the security controls across Morgan Stanley critical assets.\n\nAssist in the development and analysis of key metrics to identify trends in cybersecurity.\n\nEstablish strong relationships with senior leadership, related controls groups and business groups.\n\nShare knowledge, techniques and toolsets within the team to build proficiency in the Cyber Security landscape.\n\nWhat you'll bring to the role:\n7 or more years of total work experience, with at least 5 years in IT Security.\n\nSignificant experience with ethical hacking/penetration testing.\n\nExcellent understanding of defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture.\n\nKnowledge of the common attack vectors and associated mitigation controls.\n\nKnowledge of penetration testing principles, techniques and tools.\n\nKnowledge of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS).\n\nPeople/Communication skills:\nAbility to learn new technologies.\n\nExcellent writing and presentation skills are required in order to communicate findings and status.\n\nCleary communicate priorities and escalation points/procedures to other team members.\n\nDetail oriented, organized, methodical, follow up skills with analytical thought process.\n\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:\nAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients - helping them reach their goals.
