Read on.\nThe Technical Business Analyst (BA) in the Governance, Risk & Compliance space will act as a critical bridge between risk/compliance stakeholders and technology delivery teams, translating regulatory, risk, and control requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role operates within Agile delivery teams and supports enterprise GRC platforms, data flows, and workflows that underpin regulatory compliance, risk assessments, issue management, and control monitoring.\nWhat you’ll do in the role:\nPartner with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legal, and Technology stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.\n\nTranslate regulatory and policy requirements into functional specifications and user stories.\n\nAnalyze system workflows, integrations, and data models across GRC platforms.\n\nSupport Agile delivery ceremonies and backlog refinement.\n\nAssist with UAT, production validation, and issue resolution.\n\nEnsure solutions align with governance, risk, and control standards.\n\nEnable Internal Audit organization to evaluate the Firm's internal controls, identify & assess risks by providing a framework for documentation & periodic assessment of entities.\n\nFacilitate and support the Non-Financial Risk Second Line Testing Program: a centralized body of testing with subject matter specialists that are mobilized to execute testing, in service of achieving sufficient coverage of the firm’s non-financial risk appetite.\n\nEnable the firm's New Product Approval process designed to manage firm's new products and related risks on an aggregated basis at the firmwide level.\n\nWhat you’ll bring to the role:\n6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in GRC or Risk Technology.\n\nStrong understanding of controls, risk assessments, and regulatory processes.\n\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments.\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\n\nStrong documentation skills - Jiras, BRDs, FRDs, user flows, data mapping, process diagrams\n\nGood SQL knowledge\n\nStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\n\nComfortable working with a certain level of ambiguity.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience with RSA Archer, IBM OpenPages, or similar GRC platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with risk data aggregation and reporting tools.\n\nExposure to operational risk, compliance risk, or audit domains.\n\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:\nAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients - helping them reach their goals.
