This role acts as a brand ambassador by providing an engaging and memorable experience from the moment a resident or visitor walks through the door.\nHow You’ll Make a Difference\n1. Concierge Duties:\nGreets all visitors as they enter or exit the property\n\nProvides information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreation.\n\nMakes customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction\n\nStrives to provide tailor made solutions to meet specific resident needs\n\nReceives and logs items delivered to residents\n\nAssists the team in emergency situations by directing emergency vehicles and maintaining traffic control as needed\n\nReports all incidents via the Daily Report and/or Incident Report in accordance with company policies\n\nRegularly patrols property, inspecting all access points for safety and security of residents Participates in monitoring all security cameras, elevators and building systems\n\n2. Administration duties:\nAssists the Building Manager in day-to-day operations of the building\n\nEnsures that a superior level of service and support is provided to residents\n\nAnswers residents’ general inquiries about living in their suite, building and community\n\nActively supports the Building Manager with lease renewals and retention\n\nAssists with “move-in” and move-out procedures\n\nAny other duties as requested by Management\n\n3. Leasing duties:\nGreets prospective residents when Building Manager is not present and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc.)\n\nImmediately records all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports\n\nAssists the Building Manager in showing prospective residents available suites, in processing resident applications and lease agreements\n\nThe Expertise You’ll Bring\nCompletion of High-School or general education degree (GED)\n\n1+ year of related experience in a sales / admin and in a customer service or related role\n\nComputer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Email, internet)\n\nCore Competencies (if this needs to be changed for specific job)\nProven track record of following through to achieve results\n\nStrong team player, eager and willing contributor to team success even in areas outside position requirements\n\nAbility to work on flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends\n\nAbility to allocate own time effectively, work well under pressure, and manage tight deadlines\n\nAbility to take initiative, innovate and continuously seek to improve\n\nPreferred Qualifications and Experience\nExperience with leasing principles would be an asset\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working at Morguard\nAt Morguard, we’re committed to creating an environment where our people can thrive.
