The individual must recognize the high importance of communication, meeting deadlines and quality of construction set by the manager to ensure timely completion of projects.\nHow You’ll Make a Difference\n1.Planning\nWith direction from Operations & In-Suite departments - define scope of work for each project.\n\nIdentify priorities, time limitations, budget & quality.\n\nObtain quotes and obtain approvals.\n\nMaintain track analysis as required.\n\n2.Implementation:\nEstablish and coordinate documented project/work schedules to ensure each project is delivered on time.\n\nProvide regular status reports of project milestones and make adjustments to schedules as required.\n\nCoordinate and ensure required projects are performed according to criteria.\n\nEnsure the cost-effective management of all processes related to the projects including site access, on-floor raw material, work in process, and finished components.\n\nManage internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.\n\nMaintain compliance of departmental operating procedures, including obtaining necessary approvals, managing change and reporting on cash flow requirements.\n\n3.Evaluation:\nPerform regular documented reviews, maintain daily progress reports and issue updates to affected parties.\n\nContinuously improve cost reduction initiatives.\n\nThe Expertise You’ll Bring\nPost-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related discipline\n\n3-5 years project management experience is required\n\nMinimum 1 years’ experience in managing multi-residential or commercial projects is an asset\n\nProven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships and credibility with both internal and external parties\n\nFlexibility to travel within an assigned region within the GTA, subject to change within business needs (up to 30-40%+)\n\nCore Competencies\nSuperior organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines and meet multiple deadlines\n\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide valuable input to the corporate direction\n\nCapability to utilize internal and external resources to achieve set objectives and/or complete projects\n\nA professional demeanor, coupled with strong communication skills, both written and verbal\n\nA demonstrated high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality\n\nAbility to accurately listen, understand and respond appropriately.\n\nAbility to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations\n\nAbility to remain calm and focused in high pressure situations\n\nSelf-motivated individual who is proactive, takes initiative, goal and results oriented\n\nFlexible with a “can-do” and “no task is too big or too small” attitude\n\nExcellent problem-solving capabilities\n\nAbility to speak other languages is considered an asset\n\nActively championing diversity, equity and inclusion to create an environment of belonging\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working at Morguard\nAt Morguard, we’re committed to creating an environment where our people can thrive.
