We transform data into insights that investors can use to reach their financial goals.\nThe Role:\nThe Managed investment Data Team requires a Data Research Analyst to process our portfolio data across global markets. The analyst will need to work closely with the global Portfolio Team and Local Business Representatives, taking responsibility for data coverage, quality, and timeliness to the highest standards. The Portfolio Data Analyst will form closer links with providers related to data acquisition processes and gain expert knowledge of our database. The position will be based in our Data and Development Centre EMEA.\nResponsibilities:\nCollect and maintain Morningstar data, ensuring high levels of data accuracy, completeness and coverage.\nMeet the predetermined production deadlines for internal and external clients\nCollaborate strongly with the global data teams\nContinuously evaluate procedures, create and enhance analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects.\nAct as an expert regarding investment data points and calculations, answering questions and escalations from data team.\nMaintain and strengthen existing relationships with fund companies and clients as well as 3rd party data providers\nKeep up to date on current and new financial regulations (Solvency II, MIFID II, etc.)\nDrive process improvement by applying LEAN Six Sigma tools and implementing process automation.\nSupport Morningstar's portfolio capabilities, by testing incoming templates (TPT+, APT, etc.\nHandling of Portfolio Data Transfer Agreement. Strong collaboration with Legal department and fund companies\nRequirement:\nSolid understanding of the financial industry and passionate in investment data.\nExcellent writing, communication, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling high volumes of data and meeting strict deadlines\nFluent English and at least one other European language is mandatory.\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in Morningstar, ideally in data management.\nExpertise in Morningstar data, methodology, quality and processes.
