You will be working together with a team of talented and results oriented individuals and take part in the constant development and improvement of our digital products.\nAlso, you will be able to improve your software development skills by implementing high complexity solutions in geographically distributed environments, improving existing features, and working with cutting edgetechnologies.\nContribute to the development of new products by using .NET Core and in other software frameworks;\n\nImplement solutions based on requirements within estimated timeframes;\n\nCollaborate with product management teams in different partsof the world to achieve and extend the overall vision of the product;\n\nResearch and propose different solutions and possible enhancements;\n\nSolve reported issues.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n4+ years of experience with:.NetFramework, .NetCore, C#, PostgreSQL, Microservices, REST APIs, architectural design patterns, software design patterns, Hangfire, Pentaho ETL\n\n4+ years’ experience with: Angular and TypeScript or other JavaScript frameworks;\n\nDevOps skills working with AWS/Azure is an asset;\n\nPython knowledge is an asset;\n\nKnowledge of how software automation works;\n\nAn understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Software as a Service solutions leveragingMicrosoft and/or Amazon technology is an asset;\n\nPrior experience with No-SQL databases is an asset;\n\nLeverage AI-powered software engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q) to accelerate code development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews while maintaininghigh standardsof quality and security.\n\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the SDLC, establishingbest practices, governance, and measurable productivity improvements for engineering teams.\n\nKnowledge/prior experience in machine learning is an asset;\n\nAny other evidence of your passion for building great software;\n\nYou have a Universitydegree (preferably in a science related subject or in engineering)\n\nMorningstar is an equal opportunity employer.\nMorningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis.
