Please read on...\nFacilities Project Engineer\nWe are seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Project Engineer to lead the execution of clean rooms and equipment upgrade projects. This role will focus on supporting the facility improvement plan, with a strong emphasis on project coordination, vendor management, and technical oversight in a GMP-regulated environment.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nProject Planning & Procurement:\nDevelop detailed project schedules and roadmaps for equipment procurement and installation.\nIdentify and document nuanced requirements for clean room upgrades and equipment replacement.\nExecution & Oversight:\nLead execution of upgrades, including biosafety cabinet (BSE) replacements, laminar flow glove box (LFG) installations, and particle monitoring system enhancements.\nCoordinate shutdowns and modifications of specific units, including after-hours and early morning work as needed (e.g., 12 AM-6 AM shifts during implementation).\nClean Room & Equipment Upgrades:\nOversee upgrades to active air monitoring systems and viable particle identification processes.\nManage Siemens EMS work and integration with automation systems.\nSupervise installation of 8 BSEs and 9 LFGs across multiple phases.\nFacilities Infrastructure Projects:\nCoordinate upgrades to camera systems, sprinkler systems, HVAC, and air handling units.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nWork closely with Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) teams to ensure compliance and validation.\nGather input from various stakeholders to develop comprehensive qualification plans.\nVendor & Stakeholder Coordination:\nServe as the primary liaison with vendors and contractors.\nPlan and manage execution timelines, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management, supporting GMP-regulated environments, including BSC/BSCE (Biosafety Cabinets), LFG (Laminar Flow Glove Boxes), and Grade A/B/C Clean Rooms.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.\nLocation: Morris Plains, NJ (Onsite)\nShift: Standard business hours; flexibility required to support project implementation activities during off-hours, including 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM as needed.\nPay Rate: $50 - $60/Hour W-2 Only (based on Education/Experience)\nContract: 6-month\nHealth, dental, vision, 401k (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)\nWhy Novartis:\nHelping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
