Please read on...\nManager, Financial Reporting and Accounting\nWe are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to support month-end close, financial reporting, and control activities. This role will partner closely with business partner, Group Finance, Shared finance center, Tax, Treasury and affiliate finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and timely management insights.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\nAnalyze balance sheet and P&L movements and prepare financial commentary explaining key variances and business drivers.\nPrepare and post manual journal entries, accruals, and cost cross-charge.\nInvestigate and resolve intercompany and reporting discrepancies with internal stakeholders and affiliates.\nPrepare reporting packages and presentations for CFO and finance leadership reviews.\nCoordinate financial review and sign-off processes, including controls and compliance documentation.\nExecute key financial controls, including financial statement tie-outs, accrual completeness reviews, manual journal entry review and close readiness checks.\nPrepare cash forecasts and support management reporting.\nManage intercompany billing and invoice review/approval activities.\nPrepare supporting documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain financial reporting procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.\nCollaborate effectively with Business, Group Finance, Tax, and other cross-functional stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n7+ years of accounting, financial reporting, AND controllership experience.\nStrong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.\nExperience with month-end close, balance sheet review, financial controls, and management reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred\nCPA certification.\nExperience with manufacturing, fixed assets.\nExperience with financial consolidation and reporting systems\nLocation: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid -3 days onsite)\nPay Rate: $60/hr - $64/hr W-2 Only (based on Education/Experience)\nContract: 12-month\nHealth, dental, vision, 401k (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)\nWhy Novartis:\nHelping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
