HFO Midwest is a division of Morris Group, Inc., one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nAs an Applications Engineer, you are responsible for the part programming of CNC Machine Tools, process development, and customer training in an industrial environment, using innovative equipment. Other duties include, but are not limited to:\nConducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals\n\nMaking accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications\n\nProgramming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills.\n\nDeveloping/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers and lathes\n\nMaintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company\n\nOther Functions:\nPerform related duties as required.\n\nThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
