You will be working with an enthusiastic team and experienced team, assisting with the delivery of high value construction projects across clean and waste water on the AMP 8 Yorkshire Water framework.\nWhat you will be doing:\nReporting to the project manager, you will work alongside the project delivery team to ensure the design, procurement, financial control and site activities are achieved.\nOutline engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house resources, site installation and construction personnel.\nDelivery of water M&E projects e.g., Pumping Stations, Dosing Systems, Chlorination plants & associated civil structures etc.\nEarly site investigation works in coordination with the client, design and project team\nProduction and review of health and safety documentation (risk assessments & method statements / Project management plans).\nProcurement of materials\nAttend/undertake factory, site and works testing, commissioning, and client training\nAttendance and input into internal and client design reviews\nWorking closely with the design team to gather all required information, participate in regular design reviews and Hazard Studies to develop the best solution\nInvolvement with cost to complete / budget reviews with the project delivery teams\nNegotiating with suppliers and subcontractors\nInvolvement with preparation of subcontract orders\nAssistance with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works\nLiaison with site manager and site teams to ensure work is completed to programme, budget, and quality\nDeveloping Inspection and Test Plans and ensuring they are completed as the scheme progresses\nInnovation whilst maintaining compliance to current standards\nPreparation & management of project programmes\nProactive approach to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety performance\nTo work with the team to develop and close out all contract documentation such as, “As built” drawings, Commissioning Manuals and Operation and Maintenance Manuals\nTo work with the team to develop and close out all contract documentation such as, “As built” drawings, Commissioning Manuals and Operation and Maintenance Manuals\nAbout you:\nHave an industry applicable electrical ONC/HNC/B Eng or NVQ equivalent.\nProven experience within the water industry necessary, desirable to have experience in chemical dosing.\nProven negotiation skills to both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.\nExcellent communication skills, face to face and in an online capacity. \nDesire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture.\nWhat We Can Offer in Return:\nWith an impressive order book of over £4.3 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
