At Morse Micro you will be working with some of the best and brightest engineers, including some that helped invent the original Wi-Fi technology that is ubiquitous today.\nIn this role, you will be part of the applications team, with the opportunity to work across diverse areas of technology and levels of abstraction, all with the goal of enabling new products to enter the market.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nApplications development that showcase and demonstrate the benefits of 802.11.ah, and accelerate customer products to market.\n\nCollaborating with internal and external customers to deliver robust solutions to technical problems\n\nDevelopment of software tools, libraries, SDKs, demos & documentation that streamline the creation of new HaLow-based products.\n\nProviding feedback back upstream in development to ensure the high quality of Morse Micro products.\n\nTechnical leadership of complex projects, implementing new features, modules, and infrastructure\n\nMentoring other team members\n\nMaintaining a knowledge of the competitive landscape and technology trends\n\nRequired skills and experience:\n2+ years of relevant experience\n\nIn-depth knowledge of Embedded C\n\nStrong problem solving skills\n\nExperience with embedded systems, including writing drivers and board ports.\n\nExperience with sockets programming\n\nUnderstand hardware concepts such as GPIO, SPI, SDIO, I2C\n\nAbility to debug issues using GDB, Logic Analyzers, Wireshark\n\nUnderstand general software development flow and process\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication, with ability to articulate design decisions/progress\n\nAdditional Preferred Skills and Experience:\nStrong experience with Linux including kernel/driver development\n\nExperience developing network applications/products based on Linux\n\nUnderstand wireless networking and theory of operation, in particular Wi-Fi\n\nUnderstand the OSI model and have experience with ethernet routing, forwarding and bridging\n\nWorking knowledge of Python, Bash, Makefile\n\nExperience with OpenWrt or buildroot\n\nExperience with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS for embedded systems, including bootloaders, device drivers, interrupt handlers and DMA routines.\n\nExperience in using static analysis and automated testing tools.\n\nExperience with system profiling and performance analysis\n\nExperience using a spectrum analyzer\n\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary and stock option package\n\nPerformance-based bonus scheme\n\nIncome protection insurance\n\nErgonomically designed, modern office environment\n\nRegular team gatherings and social initiatives\n\nSupportive, high-performance culture where your work truly matters\n\nPersonal professional growth opportunities\n\nOur Culture\nAt Morse Micro, our values shape how we work.
