You will collaborate with a teams of engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications using C++ and Python \n\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming to ensure high-quality code and knowledge sharing\n\nInterface with hardware including boards, sensors, cameras, GPS receivers, radios, and microcontrollers\n\nStay up-to-date with the latest software engineering trends, tools, and technologies\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, ensuring seamless integration and deployment\n\nContribute to the development of new codebases that emphasize object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability\n\nRequirements:\nUS citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI)\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or significant professional experience)\n\n5+ years of software development experience\n\nExpertise in C++ and proficiency Python \n\nStrong understanding of hardware, embedded systems, and sensors\n\nExperience with Docker, Docker-compose, or Kubernetes\n\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and microservice architecture\n\nStrong communication skills and self-motivation\n\nExperience or desire to lead technical teams\n\nMORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.\nEmployees also receive 10 paid holidays per year. MORSE maintains an “open” leave policy that does not restrict exempt, regular full-time employees to a specific number of paid sick or vacation days.
