OPERATIONS MANAGER\n\nThe successful candidate will form part of the executive management of the business and will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight over investment operations processes and procedures.\n\nJob Summary\n\nEmployer: Morula Capital Partners\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nLocation: Gaborone, Botswana\n\nCategory: Finance\n\nClosing Date: 2026-11-13\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage day-to-day operations of investment-related activities.\n\nEnsure timely and accurate processing and settlement of investment trades.\n\nOversee daily reconciliation of portfolios/funds scrip and cash holdings and maintain accurate record-keeping for all transactions, fees, and distributions.\n\nOversight of key daily operational process to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to clients and other key business stakeholders.\n\nKnowledge and management of service level agreements with third parties such as fund administrators, custodians and trustees amongst others and enforcing them to ensure service providers deliver in line with expectations.\n\nKnowledge of CUI legislation and other global industry best practice standards on pricing, valuation, reconciliation and other operational processes, and ability to interrogate the relevance, efficiency and accuracy of various processes.\n\nEnsuring the accuracy and integrity of all reports distributed internally and externally to clients, regulators and other stakeholders.\n\nContinuously identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve reporting efficiency.\n\nDevelopment, oversight and enhancement of all relevant internal processes and workflows to ensure investments operational efficiency\n\nServing as a key point of contact for client requests regarding their portfolio valuations, performance, and other account information.\n\nEstablish service level deliverables for the department, in line with client agreements, best practice, and internal objectives.\n\nCollaborate with other departments to meet client service level agreements.\n\nEnsure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.\n\nReport to management and board on department activities.\n\nTraining and supervising a team of Operations Analysts.\n\nRequirements\n\nAt least a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.\n\nA relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.\n\nAt least 8 years experience in a fund accounting/administration or investments operations environment.\n\nAt least three years experience in a senior or management role.\n\nRelevant experience with a fund administrator or asset manager will be an advantage.\n\nWell-organised, diligent and detail-oriented; able to multi-task and keep track of various deadlines in a fast-paced, high demand environment.\n\nExperience leading and managing a high-performance team\n\nStrong presentation, oral and written communication skills\n\nImmaculate attention to detail.\n\nGood knowledge of domestic capital markets.\n\nStrong knowledge of financial instruments, investment vehicles, investment/fund accounting standards and principles.\n\nSolid understanding of regulatory requirements for investments.\n\nHow to Apply\nApply strictly by email to: \nCVs should be the only attachment.
