This role is responsible for overseeing Incentive Pool calculations, payment integrity, audit preparedness, and financial reporting related to Medicare Advantage, ACO, and value-based arrangements.\nHow will you make an impact & Requirements\n\nResponsibilities\nTrack and validate all Incentive Pool calculations, including attributed revenue, medical expense, incentive payments, and initial startup costs.\nProvide verification support for contractual audit rights and maintain line-item expense transparency for items in excess of reasonable thresholds.\nProvide monthly reporting around Financial performance and operational metrics associated with Medicare Advantage and Medicare ACO contracts. Operational metrics include address rate, recapture rate, and admits per 1000 (admission, discharge, and keep metrics).\nEnsure timely incentive payment calculations, annual reconciliations, and performance reporting as outlined contractually.\nDocument and manage offsetting of surpluses/deficits under Incentive Pool.\nSupport decision-making and documentation for renegotiation events.\nEnsure accurate tracking of IBNR reserves, Payor Adjustments, and retroactive adjustments in accordance with contractual requirements.\nTrack and reconcile incentive payments tied to burden of illness. Collaborate with Accounting on monthly journal entries for incentive activity and coordinate with Treasury for timely payments.\nOversee receipt and accounting of risk-based and shared-savings revenue. Reconcile direct fee-for-service receipts, ensuring clear segregation between FFS and value-based revenue streams.\nManage responses to third-party payor and government audits. Provide detailed supporting schedules and reconciliations for any financial audits requested.\nManage invoicing, cash flow, and ongoing communication with for employee lease arrangements. \nContinuously evaluate financial performance to identify early indicators of performance variance. Support senior leadership in evaluating performance.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; CPA preferred.\nMinimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, preferably within managed care, ACO, or health system settings.\nExperience with financial analytics, financial statements, and claims data.\nDemonstrated experience in contract-driven financial management and audit compliance.\nStrong knowledge of capitation, shared savings, and risk-adjustment methodologies a plus.\nStrong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.\nAbility to navigate complex relationships across the organization.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.\n\nCompensation Range:\n$77,417.00to\n$116,126.00The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
