We foster a spirit of unity that respects the remarkable individuality of everyone's culture, history, and service.\nDescription\nThe QA Track Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all quality assurance activities in support of system development and maintenance efforts. This role provides leadership to a team of QA analysts and ensures that all software releases meet established quality standards, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.\nThe QA Track Lead manages a team of approximately 10 staff and works in close collaboration with workstream Track Leads, development teams, and stakeholders. This position is accountable for ensuring comprehensive test coverage, including integration, regression, performance, and security (penetration) testing for all releases. The QA Track Lead also serves as the primary liaison for QA-related activities associated with major releases and coordinates with the customer’s User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team.\nRole Responsibilities\nProvide leadership, direction, and oversight to a team of QA staff, including task assignment, performance management, and professional development\nDevelop QA strategies in alignment with project requirements and contractual obligations.Oversee the creation and execution of test cases/plans/cycles for manual and automated testing.\nParticipate in release planning to ensure QA activities are appropriately defined, estimated, and scheduled.\nEnsure successful execution and completion of all required testing activities, including:\nIntegration testing\nRegression testing\nPerformance testing\nSecurity and penetration testing\n\nEnsure all releases meet defined quality standards, acceptance criteria, and compliance requirements prior to deployment\nServe as the primary QA point of contact for the State Customer for major releases, including preparation and delivery of status reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments\nCoordinate and align QA activities with the State Customer’s UAT team to support validation of system changes, defect resolution, and acceptance processes\nMonitor, track, and report on defects, risks, and overall quality metrics to both internal leadership and State Customer stakeholders\nMaintain and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and tools to support efficient and effective testing practices\nEnsure adherence to applicable security, regulatory, and contractual requirements \nRequirements\nJira experience\nExperience with automated testing\nExperience with state or federal government systems, especially health and human services, eligibility, or benefits systems.\nExperience coordinating UAT with a customer.\nExperience will multiple testing environments\nWhere You'll Work\nMoser Consulting has 2 local, Indianapolis, IN offices.
