Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.\nPOSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT\nMoss' Solar Civil Field Engineers are responsible for assisting the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents with the day-to-day operations for solar construction projects.\nESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nUnderstand the civil scope of work for the assigned project and ensure all grading and closeout tasks are in alignment with approved plans\nEstablish daily goals with assigned crews\nMaintain documentation and prepare project inspection reports\nWork closely with Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all environmental action items are executed\nPerform other duties as assigned\nEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline\n6 months - 2 years’ experience in the solar construction industry, civil, grading, land surveying or related experience\nMust have great attitude in working with the Moss team\nJOB TITLE: SOLAR CIVIL FIELD ENGINEER\nJOB LOCATION: LOUISIANA, TEXAS - MULTI-STATE, REQUIRES HIGH TRAVEL\nCLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME - EXEMPT - SALARIED\nREPORTS TO: CIVIL SUPERINTENDENT\nThis position requires frequent physical activity in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds and may occasionally be required to handle loads exceeding that amount with assistance. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise levels, and extreme temperatures.
