There’s a team of people who care about your day, who want to see you succeed, who will empower you and fill you with our contagious energy.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsure safety considerations are built into project estimates, logistics, and site visits\nPerform accurate, detailed quantity takeoffs and verify consistency with drawings and bid strategy\nPerform document reviews to understand plans, specifications, and the scope of work\nDraft RFIs; ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with supervisors\nMaintain organization of project documents\nCapture meeting minutes, action items, and distribute within 24 hours of meetings\nCompile estimates, summaries, qualifications, and assumptions in line with templates and standards\nLeverage historical databases to perform price analyses and comparisons\nCollaborate with leads on identifying pricing trends, cost variances, and validate estimate assumptions. Assemble addenda, project summaries, storyboards, and backup information for bid deliverables\nSupport memo and basis of bid preparation by collecting and organizing relevant inputs\nEnsure the established bid and bid review process is followed\nPrepare and distribute pre-reads 24 hours prior to meetings\nSend pricing requests to vendors and subcontractors promptly after kickoff\nAssign and track due dates for vendor/sub responses; escalate delays as needed\nSupport pricing review (leveling, checklist compliance, identifying gaps)\nCollect and analyze vendor/sub data to support accurate scope coverage and redce risk\nCollaborate with Leads and Managers to align on bid philosophy and strategy\nEngage with vendors/subs professionally, maintaining accurate contact data and NDAs\nParticipate actively in kickoff meetings, site visits, weekly check-ins, and review sessions\nSupport effective team communication by issuing recaps, logs, and status updates\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nBasic understanding of estimating processes, construction drawings, safety, and quality standards\nUnderstands assigned tasks, how they support estimate development, and when to escalate issues\nBasic understanding of scope budgets and vendor/sub pricing inputs\nKnowledge of standard Estimating tools\nDrafts clear RFIs, meeting notes, and summaries\nPerforms accurate takeoffs and data entry in estimating tools\nIdentifies data gaps and escalates potential risks quickly\nBuilds working relationships with vendors, subs, and internal peers\nCompletes deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail; seeks clarification when needed\nDemonstrate a learning mindset; seek feedback and incorporate guidance\nAdjusts to schedule changes, addenda, or evolving project requirements\nOpen to coaching; adopts learning from Leads and Managers\nTroubleshoots document or data inconsistencies with support, escalating appropriately\nBachelor's degree, graduate to 3 years' experience in estimating or project management roles (internships included)\nMossis an equal opportunity employer.
