This role has a primary focus on software, including helping customers use our ATLAS ecosystem.\nATLAS is a realtimetelemetry and analysis ecosystem used by engineers in F1, NASCAR, IndyCar, WEC, Formula E, E1 and other racing series. It provides teams with end to endpipeline that capture high frequencydata from ECUs and sensors, distribute it through the ATLAS Data Server and the Kafka backedstreaming architecture for low latencydelivery to geo-dispersedteams, store it in SQL Race (SQL Server) or Parquet for high volumedata analysis, and visualise it in ATLAS Viewer.\nIntegrated into daily operations, ATLAS facilitatesreal-time monitoring, diagnosis, analysis and decision making for trackside and remote teams. Its public APIs and opensource libraries allow teams to extend their infrastructure to ingest third-partydata sources or automate postprocessing in Python, C#and MATLAB, enabling highly customisable, data drivenengineering workflows.\nYou will interact with other departments across the company to help customers maximise the valueof Motion appliedproducts.\nThis role may include worldwide travel, unsocial hoursand weekend work.You will representthe customer internally, to positively steer future development and influence the product strategy.\nThe role will focus on providing general supportacross the Motion appliedmotorsport customer base, including customers competing in F1,NASCAR, WEC, IMSA, Formula E, IndyCarandMotoGP.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nProvide support at the track, remotely and at customer premises.\nRepresent the customer’s viewpoint within Motion applied.\nWork with internal teams to push through issue resolution.\nAssistwith improving departmental procedures and knowledge base.\nProduce demosand examples to help customers extract maximum value from Motion Applied products. \nTake on development projects as requiredanddrive these forwardwith minimal supervision.\nDiagnose customer issues, probing problems to objectively understand whether it is a failure of the system or its environment.\nRecognise opportunity to add value with additionalMotion appliedproducts or solutions\nKnowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:\nAccurately interpret observations noted in the fieldto advisesolutions or escalate appropriately.\nDiagnose software problems under pressure with a detailed and methodical approach. \nGood communicator with the ability to capture information quickly and accurately.\nGood understanding of the electronic elements of motorsport systems and powertrains, including the characteristics of typical sensors and actuators used in motorsport.\nExperience of working trackside in a motorsport environment.\nEducated to graduate level and awarded a minimum of an Upper Second-Class Honours Degree (2:1) in a relevantsoftware, computer scienceorengineering discipline.
