From developing next-generation products to supporting critical customer programmes, our teams play an important role in enabling the future of mobility and intelligent systems.\nDriven by legacy and powered by innovation, we are committed to creating an environment where talented people can grow, collaborate and make a meaningful impact while helping our customers achieve success.\nRole Overview\nThe Full Stack Software Engineer will develop next-generation digital products and user experiences, combining modern web technologies with AI-powered workflows.\nThis role will be responsible fordelivering web applications, AI-enabled user interfaces, copilot experiences, and reusable application frameworks that support the organisation's software portfolio.\nThe successful candidate will work across frontend, backend, data, and AI technologies to create intuitive, scalable, and high-performance solutions for customers and internal users.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and build modern web applications and intuitive, high-performance user experiences.\nCreate reusable frontend components, libraries, and application frameworks.\nDevelop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validatetechnical approaches and user experience designs.\nOwn features throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept and design through to deployment and support.\nCollaborate closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver effective solutions.\nContribute to architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and code reviews.\nBuild and maintainAPIs, backend services, and integrations that support application functionality.\nEnsure applications meet high standardsof quality, performance, security, and maintainability.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nStrong programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, or other object-oriented languages.\nExperience with version control systems and modern CI/CD practices.\nStrong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.\nExperience building, testing, deploying, and monitoring production software.\nKnowledge of performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation techniques.\nExperience with package management and build automation tools.\nExperience developing data-driven applications and distributed systems.\nExperience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Kafka.\nExperience deploying and operatingcontainerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nFrontend development experience using React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks.\nExperience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.\nWhat we can offer you\nIn return for everything you bring to the table, we can ensure an exciting, challenging role in a dynamic business surrounded by some of the best people in their respective fields.\nAt Motion Applied we firmly believe it’s the relationships and friendships we create while working that make us special.
