The role is included in our hybrid working policy with the expectation of a minimum of twodays a week in the office, which should be co-ordinated with other members of the Engineeringteam.\nBasic Qualifications\nWe are looking for an applicant who has:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience\n3+ years of hands onexperience with large cloud providers;AWSpreferred, other cloud experience considered.\n\nProficiencyin Infrastructureas Code (IaC)tools likeTerraform, Ansibleor SaltStack.\n\n3+ years of hands-onexperience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker,Kubernetesand Helm.\n\nExcellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Go, Python, C/C++, Java, or Rust.\nSolid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelinesand version control e.g. Git.\nInterest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed\nKnowledge of observability and monitoringtools e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK etc\nAbility to write and speak in English fluently\nDesirable\n& Development\nAreas\nSome of the below would be beneficial to the applicant, but opportunities to develop in these areas will also be provided:\nExperienced working in and developing for a Linux environment.\nExperience with Helmfileor similar declarativedeployment tooling.\nExperience with multi-tenant architecture patterns, tenant isolation, per-customer resource boundariesand shared-vs-dedicated service design.\n\nExperience with identityproviders and authentication flows, including OIDC,OAuth 2.0, or platforms suchasAuth0.\nKnowledge in cyber security, including but not limited to threat intelligence, IAM, key management systems, data security, application security, applied cryptography, certificate management.\nExperience of IoT systems integration, protocols, and services, including MQTTand AWS IoTCore.\n\nExperience in troubleshooting incidents and live environments.\nNetworking concepts and network performance modelling / optimisation.\nUnderstand thebasic concepts of AI agent automationand orchestration.\nExperience with Hashicorptools like Vault or Consul\nWhat we can offer you\nIn return for everything you bring to the table, we can ensure an exciting, challenging role in a dynamic business surrounded by some of the best people in their respective fields.\nAt Motion Applied we firmly believe it’s the relationships and friendships we create while working that make us special.
