You will be passionate about technology and eager to use the most effective and applicable technologies, to create robust and scalable software.\nYou will work on a variety of challenges to deliver complex products and solutions, which ultimately enable race engineers and strategists to access powerful, race-winning insights in F1 and other motorsports series.\nOur software combines many capabilities, including data capture, visualisation and modelling of real time and historic data for detailed analysis, reporting, anomaly detection and enabling the best strategic decisions to be made.\nThrough clean and consistent coding, you will contribute to optimise our methods of data streaming, aggregation, manipulation, modelling and visualisation.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nDeveloping and maintaining the ATLAS software suite \nCollaborate closely with Product Managers and Field Application Engineers to understand and resolve race issues \nAnalyse user requirements, for both validity and feasibility \nDetect, document and track software defects and inconsistencies \nApply quality assurance principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle \nIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, in collaboration with the Data Platforms team \nMeeting or exceeding our unit test case code coverage \nWorking with other developers to support pull requests, peer reviews and knowledge transfer \nContribute to release planning and burndowns by providing development estimates \nWriting technical documentation \nIdentify risk and escalate appropriately when required \nKnowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience\nEssential\nFirst class degree or upper 2nd in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience) \nA thorough understanding of Software Engineering principles \nProficiency in C# .NET \nExperience using the WPF framework \nExperience using SQL \nExperience using Git version control with development and release branching strategies \nFamiliarity with CICD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps \nGood understanding and practice of agile project management frameworks \nAbility to work both as part of a team and individually \nHigh attention to detail and solid analytical skills \nDesirable\nExperience with graphics API’s (eg. DirectX or similar) \nExperience in C++ / CLI \nExperience in database/application scaling, optimisation and monitoring \nExperience with time series databases \nFamiliarity with message brokers such as Kafka \nExperience and understanding of building products on cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure and GCP and micro services \nInterest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed (eg. Python, Angular, React) \nExperience with dependency injection frameworks (eg.
