We pioneer a better future for automotive, aerospace, marine and commercial vehicle OEMs and Tier 1s by applying leading-edge Automotive and Motorsport-derived technology.\nPurpose of the Role\nTo competently follow a predefined training program, enabling the trainee to learn, practice and build competency in delivering products to the standards and specifications expected by Motion Applied and our customers.\nRole Dimensions:\nThe trainee programme is a staged development process for a minimum of 24 months, comprising of a dual approach between internal and external training programmes. Learn and progress your skill sets over the training course to manufacture sub-assemblies and units to IPC class 3 or higher.\nOnce you have successfully completed the training programme you will be a certified build technician.\nKnowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:\nGood GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.\nA generally inquisitive nature, interested in how things work and how they are constructed.\nAn interest in Motorsport, Automotive or Communications industries would be an advantage\nGood communicatorwith Basic PC skills.\n\nA positive outlook, eager to gain knowledge and self-improve.\nGood time management.\nGood attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards and efficiency.\nCalm and composed in moments of pressure\nAbility to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.\nValues and Behaviours:\nHighly motivated with a hunger to learn new processes.\nDemonstrates a collaborative approach by sharing ideas openly with others. \nDevelops positive working relationships by being open about their work and involving others.\nSeeks feedback to better understand how well they aredelivering against expectations. \n\nDemonstrates personal ownership for delivering their role, their learning and their career.\nAsks questions to better understand the business and the needs of the business. \nAccepts responsibility for delivering own area of work and results, even if difficulties arise. \nDemonstrates ability to be flexible and adapt thinking and approach quickly as required in the circumstances. \nWhat we can offer you\nIn return for everything you bring to the table, we can ensure an exciting, challenging role in a dynamic business surrounded by some of the best people in their respective fields.\nAt Motion Applied we firmly believe it’s the relationships and friendships we create while working that make us special.
