This is a hands-on, senior-level technician role for someone with deep electrical and mechanical knowledge. \nKey Responsibilities:\nProficient in complex wire harness fabrication, with the proven ability to execute builds from a Bill of Materials (BOM) and schematics.\nSupport prototype builds, retrofits, and system integrations for advanced vehicle programs.\nAssemble, diagnose, and repair electromechanical systems.\nAble to perform at a high level in a rapid prototype research and development environment.\nCreate concise documentation of work being performed.\nMaintain high safety and quality standards across all work performed.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExperienced with harness fabrication and assembly\nKnowledge of electromechanical systems-CAN, Ethernet, low-voltage, sensors, and actuators.\nExpected to work efficiently and collaboratively within a close knit team environment\nSkilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electromechanical issues.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\nBonus Skills:\nIPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent industry-standard harness fabrication certification.\nPrior experience in a rapid prototyping environment.\nExperience with JIRA and Confluence.\nExperience with CAD or harness design software such as EB-CAD or SolidWorks Electrical.\nFamiliarity with flashing ECUs and basic diagnostics using UDS or OBD tools.\nKnowledge of vehicle safety systems and industry quality standards.\nThis role is based in our Pittsburgh office and requires in-office days each week.\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to specific skills, experience and expertise, role location, certifications, licenses, and business needs.
