You will also review reconciliations and drive process improvements. You will also support the treasury activities, the audit request, and ad hoc analysis request. You will report to Director, Accounting.\nThis role is ideal for an accounting professional who brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset. You will independently manage work of diverse scope, solve complex accounting issues, and help strengthen Motive’s accounting operations as the business grows.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, eliminations, and allocations.\nManage intercompany transactions, subsidiary funding requests, and related compliance requirements across international entities.\nSupport audits and financial reporting requirements while maintaining audit-ready documentation.\nIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities that strengthen controls and reduce manual work.\nPartner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and other teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-growing technology, SaaS, or multinational organization.\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nProfessional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance.\nExperience managing complex reconciliations, audit requests, and accounting documentation across multiple entities.\nAdvanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze large amounts of financial data.\nStrong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams.\nCreating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values.
